Russia Discards "Peacemaking Rhetoric" As Ukraine Collapse Continues

An informative new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned about the planned transfer of US-made missiles and other weapons from NATO member Turkey to Ukraine: "Attempts to use peacemaking rhetoric while simultaneously supplying weapons to Ukrainian Nazis inevitably undermine mutual trust", says this warning was joined with the news: "Servicemen belonging to a far-right Ukrainian military unit have held a torch-lit farewell ceremony in Kiev for Evgeny Konovalets, the founder of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, which collaborated with Nazi Germany"

While Washington awaits the mysterious Zelensky war plan, this report continues, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced today: "This morning, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a group strike with precision weapons and long-range drones on military industry facilities in Kiev, an oil refinery in Kremenchug, Poltava region, and a metallurgical plant in Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region" an announcement that followed Minister of Defense former advisor Andrei Ilnitsky observing: "There are 33 goals, and Ukraine will become incapacitated...It is not necessary to hit the decision-making centers in Kiev...It is enough to disable 33 facilities, and Ukraine will become incapacitated".
Following the Russian group strikes on Ukraine, this report details, the Ukrainian state media reported: "Ukraine did not shoot down a single ballistic or hypersonic missile last night" the Financial Times then revealed: "The Ukrainian air force has stopped reporting the number of Russian missiles intercepted by its air defense systems as it is unable to intercept them" and in stark contrast to Ukraine unable to defend itself,, the Ministry of Defense announced: "Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 822 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian regions and the Black and Azov Seas from 8 p.m. Moscow time (5 p.m. GMT) on 15 August to 8 a.m. Moscow time (5 a.m. GMT) on 16 August".
